The owners could not have been more helpful, giving us information and advice on the area, the room was lovely and spotlessly clean, fresh towels every day, breakfast was great, enough to fill anyone up, and always choices on what to eat.All in all, this is a great place to stay, always feeling like we had personal service.Recommended.

There is SO much to say about Elena & Paulās Snowdonia gem of an inn. They are simply two of the most friendly and hospitable hosts my husband and I (especially as a gay couple) have EVER had.So much attention to detail! As a couple, I definitely suggest staying in the adorable cottage in back. Elenaās delicious breakfasts portions are very generous and will get though the day if you take a long mountain walk. And Paulās bits of local history (as well as ādad jokesā) are very entertaining. We REALLY canāt wait to come back some day!

A clean, tidy and well kept B&B. The host Paul and his wife (unfortunately I didn't get her name) were a very welcoming couple and I highly recommend the B&B and if I was in the area again I would certainly stay there. The only concern were the breakfasts - beware of them, forget about your waist line, although you probably wouldn't need a meal for the rest of the day!!

Perfect location close to numerous mountains, trails, waterfalls, caves, I could go on.As for the B&B it was, as always comfy, clean, fresh, welcoming. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing, whether itās full cooked English breakfast or Greek.Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely clean and Elena and Paul were such welcoming and accommodating hosts.Mega breakfast. Poached eggs and bacon (all locally sourced) just delicious. But the Greek breakfast of yoghurt fruit, nuts and honey. Was just mega. You would be hard pushed to beat it.

The B&B was situated just a few hundred metres out of the main hustle and bustle of the village which meant that it was lovely and quiet. We were greeted by the hosts and shown to our delightful bedroom cottage at the rear of the property.Room was lovely and warm with a separate vestibule to keep outer clothing and shoes. Heated flooring isnāt he bathroom meant a toasty warm exit from the shower.Decor was tasteful in the room and bed comfortable.Breakfast order was taken on arrival by the host and we were delighted to hear that it was to be delivered to our room at a time of our choice the following morning.Sadly the weather wasnāt nice enough to enjoy the breakfast on the breakfast table outside the cottage so we enjoyed the lovely breakfast, with locally sourced great quality ingredients, on a breakfast table inside our room.A really enjoyable stay. Our only regret was that we didnāt stay longer.

Everything about our stay at Dolweunydd B&B was outstanding, exceeding all my expectations, I had read a lot of very good reviews regarding Dolweunydd B&B while looking for somewhere to stay in Betws-y-coed.Elena & Paul were fabulous hosts, catered for our every need, I'm vegan my husband's vegetarian and both our friends enjoy a full cooked breakfast, all were plentiful, presented very well and enjoyed by all...set us up for the day.Paul was very informative about the surrounding area. Many thanks Elena & Paul for making us all so welcome at your wonderful B&B

We stayed at Dolweunydd B&B for 3 nights, to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing time!Cottage is nice and cosy, with everything you need and a newly refurbished bathroom to a high standard.Location of the B&B is great with a short walk to a village and a Swallow Falls and many more.. there are mountains on one side and the river on the other, it is really beautiful.Breakfast really surprised us both.. we normally go for a full english breakfast when staying away, however we tried their ''Greek breakfast'' and that's what we had for all 3 mornings, as it was delicious!! A huge bowl of freshly chopped fruit and berries, with a fresh greek yogurt, honey, oats, selection of nuts.. it was a feast! It won't leave you feeling heavy if you plan a busy of walking during the day..Paul and Helena has been a superb hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will be returning to this lovely place for sure!! Thank you very much for making our stay very special :)

Is a beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean B&B, a 15 minute walk in the centre of Betws-y-Coed. The owners, Paul & Elena are wonderful, friendly hosts, who are able to furnish you with plentiful of information on the immediate area and places further afield worthy of a visit. Our room had obviously been recently refurbished and decorated. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and roomy enough for two. The Welsh breakfast available each morning was absolutely delicious and certainly plentiful. Rooms at the front of the property provide guests with the gentle sound of the River Conwy, located on the opposite of the road. We enjoyed a very pleasant 3 night stay.

We would highly recommend this B&B, the hosts went consistently above and beyond adding some lovely personal touches that made all the difference to our stay. The bungalow we stayed in was impeccably clean and had a lovely little seating area outside that you could use to relax or eat your breakfast. We tried both the cooked and greek style breakfasts and both were delicious and plentiful. The hosts were helpful and thoughtful with kind gestures throughout our stay. The B&B is about a 10-15 min walk into the main town which is a nice walk as you can see the river the whole way. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were in the area.

We stayed for 1 night in the cottage room which was comfortable and spacious. The property was well located on the outskirts of Betws-y-Coed, parking was good, there are nice walks from the door along the river and 10-15 mins walk into town. The breakfast was ey.. There is superb walking from Capel Curig, just a few minutes drive away.

Dolweunydd Bed and Breakfast had a great location out from the busy centre of Betws-y-coed, parking was easy and the staff were both friendly and accommodating. The cottage room was great and we had no issues with our stay. Breakfast was great and filling everyday especially when we had busy days of activities ahead, the staff always kept in touch and would ask us how our days went and what we had been up to that added that personal touch that a B&B is meant to offer, we would recommend Dolweunydd Bed and Breakfast and look forward to staying again in the future.

Extremely welcoming and comfortable B & B, just a few minutes walk from the heart of the Village. The Room was very clean and comfortable with a keen eye to detail. Breakfast every morning was of a very high standard and nothing was ever too much trouble. I cannot rate this establishment high enough for making me feel both welcome and valued as a guest and making my stay one of the most enjoyable ever.

We stayed in room 2 for the weekend. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the tea and water in the room, replenished after the first night. The breakfast lived up to expectations having seen previous reviews - really decent cooked and cold selection. It was further from the station than anticipated. I believe booking.com states 3 mins walk but it was about 20 mins!

A lovely bed and breakfast, perfectly positioned for seeing the local area. Our host was attentive from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for money too! On site parking offered but we chose to stay on the road and this was fine. The b&b was a ten minute walk from the centre of the village which meant that it had the best of both worlds: close to the amenities but far enough away to be quiet and tranquil.

We had a one night stay in the Cottage, which was pretty and warm on a wet November day.The lobby area was useful for wet clothing and boots, but the tiled floor was very cold when going to make the early morning tea.It was a shame that the bathrobe and slippers mentioned in the website were not available, or we would have brought our own!The bathroom was compact, with a very small shower and separate heater for hot water for the sink. The cottage had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside, and was very quiet for a peaceful night's sleep.Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good choice of options. The village was a short walk away along a well lit footpath.Off road parking was a plus.

We spent 3 nights in this wonderful property, our first visit to Betws-y-Coed. Paul was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The guest house is very clean and well equiped it also has a guest lounge that can be used by everyone. The breakfast was delicious with choices of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juices freshly brewed coffee and a full English breakfast or salmon scrambled eggs which were the best we've ever tasted. The room was a little small but well furnished. Clean towels daily and bottled water, which was an extra touch. I can thoroughly recommend a stay here. The wifi was only available in the guest lounge and didn't have a very good connection. On a negative, we had advised our arrival time of between 2 & 3.30 pm. We arrived at 2.30 only to find a note on the front door that check in would be after 4.00 pm & there was no one home. It would have been beneficial to have been advised of the late check in time when we had booked.

Just returned from a lovely couple of days at this beautiful guest house. Paul is a very friendly and helpful host who took time to give us advice on interesting places to visit and how to get there. The room had lots of homely touches and was of excellent standard. He even provides two small bottles of spring water daily. This is a lovely, character property and we would highly recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do.

A friend and I have just recently stayed at the Dolweunydd bed and breakfast as part of our trip to mount snowdon. The welcome and service we recieved from Paul was excellent. We had plans to set off for snowdon early in the morning and would not be able to have breakfast so Paul arranged a packed lunch for us which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast on the second day was excellent and was thoroughly enjoyed after the previous days trip. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted and the service we recieved made are trip one to remember. I look forward to coming back to snowdon and the Dolweunydd bed and breakfast in the future.

This was the best B&B we've stayed in! Paul gave us a very friendly welcome, and wasn't at all fazed by there being two of us, instead of the one that I'd mistakenly indicated in the booking. Hearing that we'd been for a rather wet walk that day, he immediately offered to dry any things we needed, and our walking gear came back tumble dried in a pile the next morning! The breakfasts were really delicious and very generous. I especially liked the fresh fruit salad and good mueslis, while my husband enjoyed the full cooked (especially the sausages and bacon)! The room was very comfy and well-equipped, with a lovely view across to the river and woodland. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

Can't praise Dolweunydd or Paul highly enough. Our room was everything we needed and we really appreciated the kingsize bed. The en suite was more than adequate with a good shower. We had the cooked breakfast each morningwhich was delicious, cereals and fruit were also available. Paul was extremely accommodating with good local knowledge and really helpful with any requests we had - his offer of drying our very wet walking gear after doing Snowdon was fantastic. No complaints at all, I would be more than happy to stay here again when we are back in the area.

Paul and Janette were great hosts for our stay here. They made us feel very welcome and due to an unforeseen issue with the shower in the room we were booked to stay in they arranged for us to stay in an alternative room for 1 night while they got this fixed. They couldn't apologise enough for having to swap rooms but it wasn't a problem at all and we felt well looked after during our entire stay. The quality of the fresh cooked breakfast was great and the rooms we stayed in were very clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep every night.Highly recommended.

The cottage was a superb base for us and tastefully decorated. We stayed at Dolweunydd Bed and Breakfast in July 2014. Paul and Janette gave us a very warm welcome and provided an excellent and professional service. They were very helpful in providing local information. The bedroom was clean and well presented with good attention to detail. There were good facilities for off road car parking and bicycle storage. The breakfast room was clean and creatively decorated with beautiful silverware on display. There was a good choice of breakfast options, the cooked breakfast was delicious and very well presented and served by friendly serving staff (Paul and JanetteĆ¢ā¬ā¢s son). The surrounding area is exceptional and a must for anyone who loves the great outdoors. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Dolweunydd Bed and Breakfast.Best wishes and thank you for a lovely stay.Stephen and Amanda from Jersey

We spent one night at this lovely B&B.It was our first stay here and we were warmly welcomed. The rooms were very clean if a little small.Everything was of good quality and the bed very comfy.Although this B&B does not offer evening meals they recommended a good pub within walking distance which offered a friendly atmosphere, good food and good beer at a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good and we were offered every help in selecting places to visit. Although we only stayed one night, we would have no hesitation in staying here again on our next visit to the area.
