From the map above it can be seen that this holiday cottage is ideally located for visiting the many tourist attractions of Snowdonia and North Wales, including historic castles, steam railways and the world famous village at Portmeirion.

There are also many activities to be enjoyed include walking and climbing in Snowdonia, and mountain biking. There are numerous walks in the Gwydyr Forest that surrounds Betws-y-Coed which you can enjoy from the doorstep of Dolweunydd. For example you can walk up to the Miner's Bridge and down the other side of the river to the village.

There is also plenty of coastal scenery to explore. The walled town of Conwy and Victorian resort of Llandudno are about 15 miles to the north. The sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay and Anglesey are also within easy reach.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat in Betws-y-Coed that are an easy walk from the guest house. Betws is well known for it's good selection of outdoor shops including Cotswold, Stewart Cunningham, Ultimate Outdoors, and Blacks - there is always a bargain to be had!
